Artist's Comments

Drawn from the cover art of Alkaline Trio's album "Crimson".
Done with mech-pencil, charcoal stick, regular & fine point Sharpies, and a Q-tip.
Oh yeah, And I PhotoShoped the Backround. Just rendered some black & white clouds, then faded them.
I messed up on parts of the jacket & tie, And I don't know what happened with the smudged up awfulness on his hat (I don't remember doing that) but I like it anyway.

Very dark and mysterious. Great perspective and use of your papers borders. I cant beleive that is a digital piece, it looks like a sketch... how did you get that texture?

Anyway, amazing work.

Lost in the oblivions, my dreams are spires and pylons--an eclipse of horizons are all 64 worlds, magnified into the gradient there is no spine of clouds to take me back.
